Popular NZ jumping judge Matt Thomas dies

New Zealand FEI showjumping gauge Matthew Thomas died at Feilding on sun at the historic catamenia of 68.
He had been officiating at the Royal Show at Manfeild at the weekend, too died peacefully at home.
Equestrian Sports New Zealand has expressed its condolences to Thomas’s menage unit of measurement too friends, saying: “Always great to enjoin a joke Matt had a cheeky personality too oft had other judges inward fits of laughter.”
Matthew Alan Thomas is survived yesteryear his son, Duncan (Kirsty) too miss Kate (Stephen), too his grandchildren Molly, Hugh, Sam, too Ella; too Will, Patrick, too Fergus.
In lieu of flowers, the menage unit of measurement asked that donations live made to the NZ Blood Service.
Thomas’s funeral was held at St John Evangelist Anglican Church inward Feilding on Wednesday.
