Irish breeders honored for their best horses
Ireland’s close successful Equus caballus breeders accept been recognised at an awards ceremony inwards Westmeath.
Thirteen breeders were honored at the Horse Sport Ireland 2013 Breeders Awards at Bloomfield House Hotel inwards Mullingar. Awards were presented past times the Chairman of the HSI Breeding sub-board Jim Beecher. The ceremony followed the Irish Gaelic Horse Board Co-Op AGM.
John Hughes received the outstanding contribution honour piece physician Noel Cawley was presented alongside an honour inwards recognition of his successful exhibit jumping breeding programme. William Micklem received an honour for his successful eventing breeding programme.
In what was an special twelvemonth for immature Irish Gaelic Sport Horses, Agata Leonard received an honour inwards recognition of the golden medal won past times Arraghbeg Clover (ISH), ridden past times Ireland’s Greg Broderick at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses inwards Lanaken, Belgium.
Mary Quinlivan received an honour equally the breeder of Fernhill Adventure (ISH) who won a silvery medal nether Aoife Clark at the FEI World Breeding Eventing Championships for Young Horses inwards Le Lion d’Angers, France.
