Libya has staged its showtime Equus caballus race since the autumn of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s government inward 2011.
Tripoli’s Abu Sittah track, built inward the 1930s, was used on Fri for the race.
Amer Ahmed Salem, who won the 2000m race aboard Aziz WaGhaly said afterwards: “Horse racing was oppressed only in that place are expert changes now. We would similar to congratulate this novel government for its cracking achievements.”
