Florida horse rescued from river by detectives

Agriculture detectives joined forces inwards Florida to rescue a Equus caballus that had fallen inwards the Caloosahatchee River, close Fort Denaud inwards Hendry County.
Charlotte County Sheriff’s agriculture deputy Justin Treworgy was called on Mon some 2.30pm past times the Region-6 Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue Team to assist amongst the rescue.
Treworgy, a fellow member of the team, responded to the scene amongst other squad members to let out the Equus caballus trapped.
The Equus caballus could non climb dorsum upward the steep 10-foot embankment in addition to if it was non for a passing boater the Equus caballus could convey drowned or starved, Treworgy said.
“Once on scene nosotros directly laid upward to function assembling an A-frame in addition to used ropes in addition to pulley systems to elevator the Equus caballus out of the hole. Once dorsum on dry out province the Equus caballus was inspected past times a vet in addition to released dorsum into its pasture.”
Treworgy was joined inwards the rescue past times squad members Danny Hunt, from the Alva Fire Department; Dave Estes in addition to Doug Fowler, from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office; Charlie in addition to Mark White, from the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office; in addition to Captain Rick Dobson, Randy Hodges, Gary Clark, in addition to Matt Faulk, from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
