Young showjumper dies after fall
Seventeen-year-old British showjumper Ella Pallister has died afterwards sustaining injuries inward a autumn at a contest inward Dorset on Sunday.
Ella vicious from her Equus caballus inward the warm-up arena during a British Showjumping affiliated demo at Kingston Maurward, together with was taken to Dorchester Hospital prior to existence taken yesteryear Air Ambulance to Southampton Hospital.
She died inward infirmary on Wednesday.
It is believed she fell from Cocoon II when the Equus caballus refused a jump. She was hence kicked inward the head, causing severe caput injuries.
Her parents, Ted together with Karen Pallister, told the Dorset Echo: “Ella was our shining star. All she has always wanted was to ride her ponies together with win her competitions inward the fastest fourth dimension possible! There is hence much to a greater extent than to nation simply at the 2d our loss is besides groovy to compass into words.”
Ella was a Year xiii A-level pupil at Thomas Hardye School inward Dorchester, together with was also studying for a BTEC at Kingston Maurward College.
Dorset Police said they are non investigating the death.
