Firm finds counterfeit version of its injectable equine product

Canadian biopharmaceutical society Bioniche Life Sciences says it has discovered that 1 of its equine products has been counterfeited.
It found that a imitation version of its Hippiron 1000, an injectable iron-sucrose production , was being sold via a website.
Regulatory regime too veterinary customers had been advised of the situation, along amongst the elements of the counterfeited production that clearly distinguishes it from legitimate product, it said.
The society says its Hippiron 1000 fully complies amongst regulatory standards too is rubber for role equally recommended.
Bioniche sells the production solely to veterinarians too it is the but licensed production of its form available for veterinary role inwards Canada.
“Bioniche is working amongst the investigating regime to ensure that no harm results from this counterfeit version of our product,” said Andrew Grant, president of Bioniche Animal Health (Global).
“This type of illegal activeness cannot hold upwards tolerated. Bioniche invests heavily inwards lineament command measures to ensure that but high quality, regulatory compliant products are sold to veterinarians.”
Bioniche said it planned to prosecute whatever private involved inwards the manufacturing, marketing, and/or labelling of counterfeited product.
