Eight hurt as gas cylinders erupt at British pony show
Eight people were injured when a burger van exploded at a pony demo inward North Yorkshire on Monday.
It is understood 2 19kg gas cylinders were involved inward the violent blaze at the Great Yorkshire Showground, inward Harrogate, where the National Pony Society’s summertime demo was unfolding.
No-one suffered life-threatening injuries inward the incident.
Four people were taken to infirmary amongst burns. Four others were treated at the scene.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent iii ambulances to the late-morning incident.
Fire Crews from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue dealt amongst the blaze, which they said involved 2 propane gas cylinders.
An investigation is nether agency into the cause.
