National awards for Paint Horse magazine

The American Paint Horse Association’s iii publications received hand off manufacture honors at the American Horse Publication’s Annual Awards Contest at the weekend.

The APHA editorial, pattern together with marketing teams earned 12 awards, which included 5 first-place plaques. Paint Horse Journal, Paint Horse Connection and Paint Horse Racing were recognised at the contest, which took house at the 2012 AHP Seminar inwards Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia.

The Paint Horse Journal rose to the hand off of its publication class, winning the coveted General Excellence, Association Publication Circulation Under 15,000 award. The Journal terminal won this prestigious championship for its live on inwards 2004.

The General Excellence category judges recognized the Journal’s “good residuum of exhibit together with non-show coverage should appeal to many interests. There is first-class World Show coverage, specially the lead-in characteristic together with the characteristic photos. Great Rides is a wonderful idea. Both back-page photos were clever.”

APHA’s fellow member magazine, Paint Horse Connection, earned its maiden first-place award, along amongst a duad of second-place titles. The association’s racing-dedicated publication, Paint Horse Racing, took habitation its showtime titles every bit well, receiving recognition for its advertising together with editorial designs.
