The alleged striking of a Equus caballus amongst a sledgehammer was a misguided bid to euthanize the animal, it has been reported.
Police arrested Martin Padilla, 50, as well as Maximo Rodriguez, 59, on suspicion of fauna cruelty on sun later deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department were called to a Porterville property.
