A illustration of equine infection anaemia was diagnosed inwards a Equus caballus inwards Kingdom of Belgium on May 15, the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) has been told.
A senior agriculture official, Dr Pierre Naassens, reported that the beast was euthanised.
The affliction has non been seen inwards Kingdom of Belgium since December, 2010.
Naasens said the rootage of the case, inwards Flemalle, Liege, was at this phase inconclusive.
