Aust’s first Olympic eventers for Hall of Fame

Australia’s 1956 Olympic eventing squad is amid an elite grouping inducted into Equestrian Australia’s Hall of Fame.

The squad was the showtime from their province inwards the discipline, too finished fourth. Their storey is the dependent of a book, Trailblazers.

Also inducted was the piece of cake Bill Roycroft, the piece of cake Victory Salute, the well-nigh successful Australian-bred grand prix dressage Equus caballus of all time, and Joyce too the piece of cake Bob Brook for their service to equestrian sport over the past times lx years.

The inductees were named at Equestrian Australia’s annual Sport Achievement Awards finally week.

More than 200 guests gathered at ANZ Stadium inwards Sydney Olympic Park to recognise the sport’s highest achievers of the past times 12 months.
