Stallion wins Turkmenistan’s horse beauty contest
Turkmenistan spent its Dominicus celebrating the nation’s annual Equus caballus day, amongst exceptional races in addition to the horse-loving president’s annual equine beauty contest.
The winner of the “the nearly beautiful Equus caballus of the year” is reported to live on a stallion named Khan of the Eagles.
Khan of the Eagles took the prize from nine other finalists.
President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov introduced the day, celebrated on the in conclusion Dominicus of every April, to promote the native ancient breed, called Akhal-Teke.
Special Equus caballus races were held on the day, in addition to state newspapers extolled the virtues of the breed inward the days leading upward to celebrations.
