A “Herald on Sunday” investigation has flora anecdotal prove of a growing publish of thoroughbreds existence sent to slaughter at a South Island flora that exports core to Europe.
One carry operator told the paper he had transported to a greater extent than thoroughbreds to Clover Meats inwards Gore inwards the end 3 months than he had done inwards 3 years.
Another said thoroughbreds used to survive inwards the minority, “but the ‘giveaways’ on thoroughbreds inwards the end 3 to vi months is staggering. It’s made me wonder what’s going on”.
